Mister & Miss Guided: Magic Kingdom

Dec 27th:

We started out early. On certain days if you have a special pass, you can get into the park earlier than the normal crowds so we took advantage of this most days.

We headed straight for the Magic Kingdom. Again, it was a bit chilly but we just dressed in layers. So you might see some pictures where we're bundled up a bit for Florida but as the day went on, you can see we took off a coat or scarf.

Things we did at Magic Kingdom (in no particular order):

Now that is actually quite a lot to do - but we came to the Magic Kingdom 2ce! Once on the 27th and once again on the 31st. We knew we couldn't get to everything we wanted in one day so we were smart and just did what we could and then made sure to come back and do some of the other things on the 31st. Plus a few of them again.

They have what's called the Fast Pass which means that you can get a pass to certain rides which tells you to come back at a certain time and you get in a "faster" line which we took full advantage of. You could only get a Fast Pass every so often and you had to make sure you got to the ride within the allotted time your pass told you. So that made for a lot of walking all over and in no particular order - which made for - A LOT OF WALKING!

We also got a lunch and dinner either at the park or back at the hotel room as part of our package deal. So we tried to eat a light snack/breakfast type food in the park and wait until lunch to eat more. The portions were usually pretty good in the park and at the hotel - OUTRAGEOUS~

The only problem is that we had a child who wanted food constantly. I think because you could just smell fried foods everywhere you walked - weather from a restaurant or from food vendors around the park. We finally had to tell her enough already!

I also really liked how staff at Disney would take your pictures and they gave you a card which was like a cloud account with all the photos taken the whole time you were there and then you could go back and order prints. BUT they were also very willing to take pictures of you on your camera. So I don't know how much they actually sell but I was tempted to buy some of their pictures, but didn't.
